Also reduces the breather noise caused when the vent hose is not connected to original air box. Approx. 2" diam. paper and wire mesh filter has chrome-plated molded-on plastic cap. Teardrop-shaped mounting plate is made of chrome-plated die-cast metal. Clamp attaches filter to both the mounting plate and venting hose.
