Not for vehicles with serpentine fan belt. For certain cars and light trucks: American Motors, '75-85 all with Delco alternator; Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth '70-83 all 6- and 8-cyl. with double and single pulley; Ford, Lincoln, Mercury '65-87 all with separate voltage regulator; GM '62-72 all with separate voltage regulator, '71-85 all with built-in voltage regulator.
